I’m interested in trading currencies with a FOREX account, but I’ve also heard plenty of bad things about numerous companies. Does anyone know which company has the best reputation for FOREX trading?

Questions regarding Forex?

hi I'm new to forex trading and I just had some technical questions for anyone who has some experience

My first question is regarding margin calls, now say I'm investing a hundred dollars at 100x, what would happen if my losses were more than 100 dollars but I had another 10 000 dollars in my bank account. Could I set it up for the broker to take more money out of my account instead of losing my position?

Another question I had was once again about margin calls. how much money should I leave in my account and not touch to avoid margin calls? If I'm investing with 2000 dollars and I leave 8000 extra in my account could I avoid margin calls?

What currency pair on average has the least fluctuation?

What is the most detailed site that's not a broker where I can get free analysis, newsfeeds, and good up to date charts?

what's a good simple strategy? my plan is to start with 1500 and invest with 1000 dollars at ten times leverage and keep adding more to cut my losses
every 8% the value of the currency goes down, I'll put another 1000 and when they go up I'll wait till the money is 100 pips over the average to sell. now that's a beginner strategy which probably has tons of flaws please point them out. Thanks in advance

a list of stocks to look at?

hi guys coming from the forex world where I’m limited to a few currency pairs, I’m looking to expand the markets available to my self by trading stocks. The thing that is holding me back is that there are literally thousands of stocks to look at. I am looking for someone to recommend a few stocks to look at, I’m mostly a long term technical trader (i.e i look at the chart lay down my indicators and trade regardless of what is being traded lol..)

Question regarding chosing stock brokerage?

Hello everybody,

Can you guys please suggest me some online brokerage names based on my requirements:

#1: Brokerage should allow to trade stocks, options, futures and forex.

#2:Brokerage should be able to allow me to trade all the above listed things in Worldwide Important Exchanges (NOT only american stock or equity or futures exchange). They should be international.

#3: I would like to trade more times a day i.e, entering and exiting the different trade multiple times in a single day.So, Commision for trade should be reasonable or inexpensive.e.g: I do not want to pay 10 dollars for the single trade as a comission if i planned to exit the trade immediately because if i thought i made wrong decision. You understand what i am saying?

#4:Some kind of reliability.(Customer service, Trading platform etc…)

#5:Broker who satisfies you ,:"YOU" means whoever answering my question.

#6:Advice or suggestions.

Thank You.

Does anyone use MACD for the Dow mini?

I have been experimenting with some tick charts. Has anyone had success with the MACD on the Dow? I've recently switched from forex because it's tough to get a decent broker without having a very large account.

I have several people using my charts and indicators to trade. A lot of these people ask if I can recommend a good broker for trading on the Foreign Currency Exchange (forex). I'd like to associate myself with a good broker who offers an IB program – basically, an affiliate or referral program, whereby they sign up to my broker that I have a deal with, and I get a "kickback" from the commission.

Does anyone have info on how this can be accomplished in the US?

Thanks!
FX Solutions does not support MetaTrader 4, but thanks anyway.

It seems to me I can't visit a finance related site without seeing something about forex trading to the point that I see ads for 0 "mini accounts." It seems to me that trading currencies is exceedingly risky and only for the very sophisticated investor. I trade in options but I moved into that from equity investing. At least in that area I can still look at fundamental corporate performance and detailed economic forecasts to research my options activity. In the world of currencies, however, no such audited, published information exists. While I am sure there are huge amounts of money to be made, it seems as though the average investor has less chance of being successful in the long term with forex than even options trading. Are people just being drawn in to forex like all the late night "Flip this house" infomercials?

I am planning to start trade with 00 which I earned through stock market trading in my country. So I hope I will get some genuine answers here?

Thank you all in advance.

Forex Rollover?

Can anybody explain what rollover fees are in Forex? I know they are the differences in overnight rates, but I still don't understand them. I saw a chart that had different values for each currency pair, why are some positive and some negative? If this chart is accurate, should I just trade currency pairs with a positive rollover fee?

I want to setup a multi-monitor trading computer like you
see on Wall Street with the four lcd monitors on one stand.
(two on top and two on bottom)

I have also seen them in the Day Trading Software infomercials.

How can I setup a Four LCD Multiple Monitor Computer for
Day Trading the Stock Market and Forex Financial markets?
Is there somewhere I can buy a system, or are there other
options available to consider? I’d appreciate any good advice!

How much pips i can withstand with USD1000?

i'm new to forex. i plan to open a mini account with USD1000. what leverage i should use? i plan to gain little by little. 6-10 pips per trade.

Technorati Tags: , ,

I've read up (or have been trying to) on trading in the FOREX, and would like to start trading. I know many brokers offer "mini accounts", which is the type of account I would like to start with. I tried a couple of the practice accounts, and did pretty well, so I think I'm ready to start using real money. The problem is there are so many brokers, and I don't know anyone who already trades to get some opinions about them. I'd like an honest broker (if one actually exists), offering "mini accounts", tight spreads (1-3 pips), and decent leverage. I'll mostly start out trading EUR/USD, and probably venture out once I get comfortable trading. Thanks for any help.

The U.S. currently has the world's largest GDP and not by a little bit, but there seems to be substantial problems.

Namely:

1. U.S. currency isn't backed by gold or any other assets;

2. the U.S. national debt is the worst ever… 10 trillion dollars is about 70% of what the U.S. typically earn in a year… Anyone with a 70% debt load is a bad debt, such an individual is not a person people are going to lend money to, and that 70% doesn't include interest payments.

3. Bail outs, cash and spend government policy, and creative accounting practices distorting financial figures of actual earnings/losses, assets, and liabilities are likely to spur the trillion national debt further

4. Nothing I personally see from the Obama economic stimulus plan helps anyone but the rich for any real length of time… I don't see small business support, or anything saving or creating jobs, there is a college element but education without jobs is worthless

5. Other countries rely greatly on product sales to U.S. consumers to fuel their economies, but I'd image that at some point these countries may find it more benificial to either keep their own products or trade them elsewheres

What/where is the breaking point?

Volume measure in foreign exchange market?

I trade the foreign exchange market. I have a friend who trades the US stock markets.

Everytime we have lunch, he shows me a bar chart that measures current volume for any given stock. It's not an oscillator, it's an old fashioned bar chart, the higher the volume the higher the bar.

I would love to have such a thing for my foreign exchange. Does anyone know if such a bar chart indicator exists for the foreign currency market?

Specifically for the GBP/JPY.
