Hello all,
I will need to exchange pound sterling for dollars due to a long holiday coming up. I’ve been following the exchange rate with an almost paranoid obsession lately, watching it fall under 1.4 dollars to the pound.
The actual exchange rate is around 1.45 at the moment, with a bullish trend, according to sites like reuters/.forex etc.
Think I should hold out for as long as possible? (have until September) hoping the high street rate gets over 1.5 dollars to the pound, realistic?
Anyway, any advice is appreciated, will probably only work out at 100 dollars or so either way but, of course I’d rather have more

I’m very interested in buying a Multiple Monitor Computer System, for my Day Trading Business. I use Several Stock and Forex Trading Programs, but I’m tired of using four different computers. All these day traders, on the ifomercials and on Wall Street, seem to have these Multi-Monitor PCs, with only one mouse and keyboard. Where can you get something affordable, like that? I also read about it on Wikipedia, so I know they exist. Someone told me that I could upgrade my existing computer, by installing another video card, but I don’t want to get involved in all of that. I just need a nice, four LCD multiscreen system, for under 00. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I want to setup a multi-monitor trading computer like you
see on Wall Street with the four lcd monitors on one stand.
(two on top and two on bottom)
I have also seen them in the Day Trading Software infomercials.
How can I setup a Four LCD Multiple Monitor Computer for
Day Trading the Stock Market and Forex Financial markets?
Is there somewhere I can buy a system, or are there other
options available to consider? I’d appreciate any good advice!

Where can I get a good Multi-Monitor Computer, for Day Trading? I've seen a lot of people on Wall Street using these multiscreen computers. I bought a Forex Trading Program, and they are using a multi-screen pc, in the infomercial, but they don't say where to get one. Any leads are welcome!

I want to buy the yuan with us dollars. I went to wells fargo and their rate (at .143) was considerably higher than the current conversion rate (.129 or so). Other banks I went to required accounts. Also, I heard airports do not offer good rates. Finally, please do not refer to local exchangers (street) or forex sites. I am looking to buy real currency from a trusted source at a rate near the current .129 rate. Thank you for your answers.

This paragraph from a website and i want to understand it in street words , please tell me what is saying here in simple words :
“Because you’re not buying anything physical, this kind of trading can be confusing. Think of buying a currency as buying a share in a particular country. When you buy, say, Japanese Yen, you are in effect buying a share in the Japanese economy, as the price of the currency is a direct reflection of what the market thinks about the current and future health of the Japanese economy.
In general, the exchange rate of a currency versus other currencies is a reflection of the condition of that country’s economy, compared to the other countries’ economies. ”
