Is it justified for Government to Force you to pay for services you don't want?
In the free market services are optional. You sign a contract or trade currency and you then get it. If you don’t then you don’t get what ever the service is.
In Government, you’re forced to pay for services you may not want or may not need. Such as Fire Fighters, Public Education, Welfare, Social-Security, and so on. Why must I be taxed for services I don’t want or don’t need? I never signed anything.

Not only is it not justified it’s unconstitutional.
Un-American and unconstitutional if not voted on by the people.
If you don’t want any government services, you can always move to Somalia.
No no no no I wish we could fill out an sat type fill in the box sheet and tell the govt only what we want to fund
War cost money too.
Ok. I’m really curious here. Please do not take this as sarcastic, I would really like to read your response to these questions.
First, you mentioned Fire Fighters. What if your house was threatened by a fire or was on fire? If you have children, or might have children, what option other than public school would you choose instead? I can see your issue with welfare. A lot of people have a problem with it. However, what would you do if you suddenly lost your job and lets say after a year of looking, you still hadn’t been able to get another one? When you retire, do you plan to opt out of Social Security?
On a couple of others that you didn’t mention. If you were robbed, or if your neighbors had a violent altercation. What would you do if you had chosen to opt out of taxes and weren’t contributing money to the police force. Also, on roads, bridges ect…how would you avoid using them?
Thank you very much and I look forward to reading your answers to these questions.
You may not care about the big pot hole in front of your house, but I bet your neighbor does. And sometime people have to be forced out of their self absorption, in order to consider the common good. Yes, the government is justified.
because you benefit indirectly. if the fire dept puts out the blaze on your neighbor’s house, yours is less likely to burn. if the government educates it citizens, your company has a better pool of employees to pick from. if the government has a welfare program, there are less desperate poor who night break into your house because they are starving.
